Limit Words on Featured Slider Page

  • I have a featured slider on my page that comes with the Clean Business theme, so that people if they want can “click more” and get more information. Except when I add more information on the “Click More” page that it’s linked to, it shows up on the featured slider. I don’t want all those words on the featured slider, I just want a few words so someone can click and go to the page. How can I limit the words on the featured slider page or keep the words on the other page from showing up on the featured slider page.

  • @lbanister63079: You will need to insert a Read more tag after the text you want to display as the excerpt in the slider on the pages you have selected.

    Go to => Dashboard => Edit pages you have selected as Featured Slider => Click on the text you should see Insert option and under that you will find Read More tag.
    Insert the Read more tag after the text you would like to display as excerpt.
