Limit user to only leaving replies

    I have been to any number of blogs where I can leave a reply and nothing else.

    I have set up a wordpress blog and the lowest level of user (subscriber) gives people all kinds of privileges and logs them into a dashboard that will confuse them. How can I create a user level that just lets them read the blog and leave replies.

    What privileges are subscribers getting? By default that role can only read posts, edit their profile/settings, and post comments. Do you have any plugins or themes interfering with capabilities?
