Limit total orders for custom made products in Woocommerce

Hi, my client is selling custom clothing (a service), but she has several different products she’s offering in her store. She’s worried that once she launches, she’ll get so many orders she can’t keep up. She is also planning on having seasonal products, so after a few months the same products won’t be available anymore. So she wants to limit the total orders per season.
Limiting the stock on each individual product doesn’t really work, because one item might sell more than 10 while another would sell just 1. We’re thinking we’ll just keep a close eye on sales, and once she’s reached her limit, we’ll say “Sold out for the season.” But is there an option or extension by any chance that would limit total orders?
