Limit to one comment per user per post

  • Hi,

    I would like to know if there is any code that i can include in my comments.php file to limit the comments to 1 per each user per each post .
    I have a questions/answers website , so I don’t want the users to answer more than once.

  • For registered users you might be able to store some meta data, which you could then check for later on. If there’s an appropriate filter pre-comment it could be done there.

    However, for anyone else, there’s no realistic way to stop someone commenting multiple times.
