    I am trying to limit the amount of words that can be entered in my “comments” field to 25, but I am receiving spam emails where the user has entered long text with hundreds of words. The limit text does not seem to work.

    Also the Event Date, Start Time, End Time fields even though they have date and time pickers, are being spammed and filled in by rubbish text instead of the the drop downs being used.

    I can send you an example of a spam email.

    We have replicated the limit length issue in our testing environment. We will fix this issue in our upcoming plugin update.

    Sometimes the subject of the email plays an essential role in sending the emails to spam. So please check by changing the subject of your email.

    For Event time released issue. Could you please provide us with a screenshot? We will look into it and get back to you accordingly.

    Hi Amrit, I changed the subject line but with no success. Spam still keeps coming in.
    Is there any way to prevent the viewer from leaving a link in the comments section?
    That is what most of the spammers do to get me to go to their site.

    If you constantly receive spam, we suggest you enable the Google Recaptcha security on your form. Please see https://docs.wpeverest.com/everest-forms/docs/how-to-integrate-google-recaptcha/ and follow the instructions. It will help you to protect your form from spammers.
