Limit Sales to Specific Province

There’s a couple of approaches you can use here. If you’re selling physical products that must be shipped, refer to the section on Setting up Shipping Zones, and restrict shipping to your province only.

If you also sell virtual products, then you can use an extension like Conditional Shipping and Payments to show/hide payment options based on addresses. You can read more about that extension’s capabilities here:

We have set up shipping to one province only, but how does that stop someone from another province going through checkout?

If you have set up just one Shipping Zone (that covers your province) that has a Shipping Method, and any other zone you may have does not have any Shipping Methods, then any customer from outside the Shipping Zone will see the message “Sorry, there are no Shipping Methods for your area” upon checkout, which will prevent them from placing the order.

Hi there,
I’ve set some provinces in the shipping zone
I’d like to hide all other provinces (the ones without a shipping zone set) in the dropdown field in the checkout form.
How can I accomplish that task?
