Limit data (transients) to most recent posts/pages

    I am using this plugin together with Google Analtyics Top Content Widget to show the most visited posts for the past week. As I have no use to get data for posts that are older than a week, I wonder if it is possible to restrict the Google analytics data to only the newest posts, like the ones published the latest week? The problem is that this plugin will fill the database with huge amounts of transients. When there are thousands of posts this will become a performance issue. Otherwise a great plugin. Thanks!
