limit pages number

    I have a lot of posts so it will shows 1~996 pages on pagination.
    I want to just show 1~20 pages on pagination to users. even they change the page link directly with parameter page number over 21, it will only show the 20 page.

    possible to change? you can tell me direct to the php file? Thanks.
