Limit order per day per client

Hi,

It is possible with our plugin to limit one order per day per customer.

To set this up in the plugin’s settings

General > Mode > Product Quantities
General > Date range > This day
General > Order statuses > Select the relevant order statuses
Limits > All products > Enable
Limits > Limit per user > 1

In the above example the limit will apply to all products. You can change that to per product, per category or per product tag.

Right. But it seems that the limit is not necessarily on the order, but on the quantity of products. For example if a user places just one order and wants to include 2 or more products he will not be able to. But I understood and the way explained should serve. Actually, General > Mode > Product Orders option would work in your situation. You would be able to limit the number of orders.

But Product Orders, is not just the quantity of the products in the same order? Fo example: If i limit the “prdoduct order” to 5, I will be limiting the quantity of products in the same order to 5, but the customer can place as many orders as he wants as long as he doesn’t exceed 5 products per order. It’s not that?

The point that i need is to limit the order quantity per day, not the quantity of products… Looks like your first example fit better.

General > Mode > Product Quantities will limit a user from buying the number of products beyond your limits. For example a maximum of 5 products per user per day or whatever limit you set.

General > Mode > Product Orders will limit a user from placing orders beyond your limits. For example 3 orders per day, or whatever your limit is.
