• Just setting up a new wordpress site and I’m using your plugin as out connection to facebook.

Initial thoughts are that you plugin is perfect for getting a group feed displayed, but we have run into a small issue.

We are trying to limit the number of post displayed in the widget (have also experienced the same issue in the shotcode on a page)

I initial set this to 1 but the first post on our group wall wasn’t being displayed on the site, (which is a good thing as it was a post from we didn’t want to display anyway) but this non shown post is still being counted.

Is there away to make the limit value work against post actually shown on the website.

    web address is https://www.southcoastkickboxing.co.uk/WP-index.php/
    facebook ID is: 4246166403
    plugin version: 1.7.2

The limit property tells Facebook how many posts to return. Some of those posts could be filtered out depending on how you have configured the plugin. For example, if you set the limit to one, the post returned may be filtered out if you have “Only show posts made by this Facebook ID” checked or “Show all status messages” unchecked or “Privacy” set to “Show only wall posts labeled public”. The thoroughness option forces the plugin to keep making requests to Facebook until the limit number has been reached, but it will slow down the plugin dramatically.

Thanks Takanudo, that really helped me understand you code better.

Sorry to say I have now butchered your code, and changed it to use limit to set the number of displayed posted not the number pulled from Facebook.

    Thanks for your help.
