limit number of post by same IP

  • Hi
    I am running a classified site using wordpress and have a problem where spammers post x number of post one after another in different categories.

    Is there a way where i can limit number of post per IP in x number of minutes?

    6 months ago? Couldn;t an administrator or man with great knowlegde at least tell us it is not possible.

    I also would like to find a plug-in that allows me to put a specific post limit to certain IP’s.

    Like 5 posts maximum every 10 minutes..
