• Loaded up the ‘Convert existing PNGs’ tab and it seemed to crash my server. Website went 404. I have a big BuddyPress site with a lot of users uploading pngs. Any way to limit the number shown at once? I didn’t even get to the point of converting them.

    Thanks.

I know you have an extra process step to determine transparency, but it’s not always necessary. I can see what should be a png vs jpg just by looking at it.

Yes, but imagine website with hundreds of images and of course you want to convert only PNGs without transparency, so it will take a very long time…

Sure, keep it, but maybe make it a checkbox option.

Right now that second step is crashing my server so I can’t convert any images. ??

I’m having this same issue. The verification of transparency gets about 30-40 images down the list and then freezes (hitting our server’s memory limits I think). Just like Brian, I don’t need that step. I have hundreds of pngs on the site, and only about half of them need to be converted, and I know which ones need it and which don’t visually. Unfortunately, because the verification of transparency feature is automatic and not optional, it makes it so I can’t use your plugin, even though it’s exactly what I need. ??

    Check new 2.4 version ??
There is new option for Autodetect transparency for existing PNG images
just uncheck it if you want
