Thanks, Marcus, for this very helpful plug-in!

I am using the Events Manager on a BuddyPress installation. I was hoping to treat it as a personal events planner for my users.

Therefore I was hoping that users would be able to indicate on an event they are creating that it is:

    1. okay for public viewing, or
    2. a private event not to be viewed by others.

I thought I could deal with part of this in the Events -> Settings dashboard panel.

I’m struggling to understand where I’m going wrong on limiting who is able to view entries made by other people. In settings there are a number of permissions that can be selected for each level of user, but so far I’ve not been able to prevent people from viewing calendar entries:

    1. that are not their own
    2. when they are not logged in

Am I simply missing an option that I should be turning on (or off), or are either/both of these two things not possible?

Many thanks for any suggestions folks might be able to offer to help me sort this out.

    Susan.
