Limit Downloads in a Time Period?

What plugin would you be using for the membership part?

I know there are a couple of membership plugins which do have integration with Download Monitor. But there more for if a download is members only.

That’s what I’ve been finding: limits to access (yes/no) based on membership, but not limits that pertain to the amount of content a member can access (ie, number of downloads).

Looking at Restrict Content Pro, but not seeing this as a possibility out of the box, or with any of their add-ons.

Restrict Content Pro does have a free plugin for Download Monitor, but it is just for download restrictions on membership.

We have an add-on “Advanced Access Manager” through which you can set a download limit based on user role. So if RCP allows you to create a different role for each membership level, then it should be very simple to work with.

@hchouhan I looked at that: not completely clear that it will work the way we need it to, but I’ll give it a try.

Looks like that option would be in the restriction type, download limit, then set the restriction value.
