Limit date range for RPWE

Is there a way to have RPWE show only posts published in the past N days? In other words, if the conditions specified in the RPWE parameters result in finding 5 posts, but all are older than N days, nothing would display.

I believe this capability can be implemented with a request to the query loop as another plugin I previously used had a date_query_after=”-nn days” parameter. (I would rather standardize on RPWE for everything.)

I want to show lists of related posts in many different locations using categories. Some categories do not have many recent articles. That’s not a problem as long as I can ensure that really old articles aren’t shown.
