Limit Certain Form Field Submissions

I have an event where people can choose which event they want to participate in. This is through CF7 and the entries are saved with CFDB. The numbers allowed per event is however limited and need to know once this limit has been reached. This is already live and I’ve already received some submissions.
is this possible and how would one go about limiting attendees to each event?
