Limit Categories for writing posts for Authors?

    Hello,

    Using WP2, on a muli-authored blog, it is possible to limit the role (user level) of AUTHOR to only be able select a restricted set of categories when writing a post? (So there are other categories available to the EDITOR and ADMIN select which aren’t visible to an AUTHOR or CONTRIBUTOR)

    There have a few older posts about this (for WP1.5), but I haven’t been able to figure out a working solution for WP2

    Thx! I was looking for that too. I was using the old version (1.1) and that wasn’t working on WP2.0, couldn’t find this one linked on the site.

    Snowcrash, limitscat.php is giving me a parsing error at line 247!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, i’m running php5 and wp 2.0.4 any idea what is happening?
