Limit Categories

    Is it possible to limit the number of entries that appear in the category pages?
    i.e. If I create a “Book Reviews” category, can I make so only the last 5 entries show up when someone clicks on that category? Also, if I am able to do this, can I use the “next” and “back” hack links to show the rest of the posts in that category?
    Any ideas/ help would be very much appreciated!

    I was just coming here to ask the very same thing.
    I recently pared down my categories, and one has 607 entries.
    It’s a bitch to load, needless to say.

    I tried paring down my categories a little more, but it still sucks.
    Have you found maybe a tag that works?>
