• Hi

I noticed my download log has a lot of data in it, going back to 2018.

I don’t see settings for managing how much log info to retain. How much do you keep in the log?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I don’t see settings for managing how much log info to retain.

You can click on Reset Log Entries button to reset the logs. You can also control and offset the logs for each download file added in your site.

How much do you keep in the log?

The logs starts accumulating records from the moment a file is downloaded in your site and recorded by our plugin.

Let me know if the above helps you.

    Thank you

I understand about the reset feature. Not sure about offsetting logs though. I have offset starting count numbers if that is the same thing?

But wouldn’t it be worth having an option to limit how much log data to retain? Many plugins cap the amount of logs they retain so as not to bloat the database too much.

You can export the log entries then reset it. Also, many sites don’t need the log feature so you can turn it off from settings.

I will think about adding an option to auto-delete or trim log data.
