Like/share buttons on index page reference social plugins facebook page

  • Hi, I have been using the facebook plugin for my blog to make it easier for users to like and share my posts over facebook.

    The plugin works great on the individual post pages. However, on the index pages which show an excerpt + thumbnail of each post of a certain category, the like/share buttons instead point to the “social plugins” wordpress site, which has 200,000 likes.

    I would like the like/share buttons to work the same on the index pages as they do on the individual posts pages.

    For example, an individual post page looks like this, https://www.theholistichealthnurse.com/?p=93
    and the index page looks like this https://www.theholistichealthnurse.com/?page_id=209
    notice how the facebook buttons do not point to my post on the index pages.

    I hope this makes sense, I havent been able to fix this with the plugin settings and some assitance would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

    Anybody from the plugin support team willing to help me? I will have to use a different social plugin if this cant be resolved.
