    Hello….Waiting for a response…

Although it may be just as well, because now the like button is repeatedly refreshing (which didn’t happen the first few days after installing the plugin), and seems to be slowing my site’s load time. You have said to other bloggers that you can’t do anything about that – that it’s an issue on facebook’s end – but it isn’t clear why that is. Could you please explain that fully? Especially since other sites I’ve seen don’t have that issue.

In addition, for the past few days, when the site is loading and the like button is refreshing, I’m seeing a blue line flashing. This wasn’t a problem at first. How can that be solved?

    Hello [email protected],

Did you change a domain name? How old is your site? Maybe it is temporary problems of Facebook? Did you update the plugin?

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

Regarding the braking of the site – the feature of this button, that for the correct work of every button it is necessary to load a script from Facebook. And if page has a lot of post and buttons, then the it will be longer loaded.
Regarding the blue line flashing – it difficult to say something, we didn’t see it previously.

    Kind regards,
    Support

I apologize for not replying before; I’ve marked the button to receive posts by email, but hadn’t.

I haven’t changed my domain name – the site is only 4 months old.

Sometime after posting 2 months ago, I learned that facebook had a site-wide issue at the time my like counters had been reset, where many, many sites had all of their like counters reset. So I guess I was simply one of many thousands.

    I’ll mark this as resolved.
