Likebox showing up twice

I haven’t come across this problem before and so is it possible for you to provide a link to the page where you’re using the [custom-facebook-feed] shortcode so that I can take a look first hand? If you’re also able to provide your ‘System Info’ from the plugin’s ‘Support’ tab then that would be helpful too.

My blog can be found here: https://goldfasanblog.de/. The plugin is currently added to a widget on the right side (show likebox is ticked, position: bottom, 1 post to display – so it is only showing the error message atm, I didnt want to have two likeboxes on the page for the time being ?? )

Thanks for the info. It looks like the other Like Box is being added by the ‘Facebook Widget‘ plugin you have installed. Could you try either deactivating that plugin temporarily, or removing the widget from that plugin from your sidebar, and let me know whether it removes the duplicate Like Box?

thanks for your reply.

I removed the other widget entirely and now only one (yours) shows up, which is great.

The only problem left is the correct display of the posts. If I now want to display a post (number of posts = 1, limit of posts = 1) only a single line shows up. No text or anything. I left it in that state so you can check for yourself.

Another small thing would be that the the like button is greyed out for me, but I guess that is because I already like the page, right?

Just one thing is left..

If I want to display a post (posts to display = 1, limit = 1), it is not shwoing up.. there is only a single line below the likebox. If I increase the number of posts to display the more lines show up.

I left it like that and you can see for yourself on my page.

It looks like the issue is that you have the plugin set not to show any parts of the posts. You would need to go to the plugin’s Customize page, click on the Post Layout tab, and then check all of the boxes in the ‘Show/Hide’ section. As those aren’t currently checked then none of the post content is showing up.
