Autoptimize does things right – especially if the project/WP site is set up in a way to give it a hand – but even if you run into issues, there are many ways to go around, either on your own or via the excellent support for the plugin.

It’s part of all of my projects now and, if done right, it can provide a tremendous boost, not just in performance scores, but in what matters the most: actual performance boost for the users.
