LightView Gallery No-resize

My client doesn’t want the LightView Gallery modal to resize.
I’ve edited the lightview.js directly setting viewport: ‘crop’ or viewport: false. Neither seem to have any effect.
I also passed some options using the data-view-options. These seem to be completely ignored. https://projects.nickstakenburg.com/lightview/documentation/options
Is SimpleGallery picking up these options or imposing its own options?
This seems to be the perfect solution to enhancing the default WordPress Gallery, but I’m running into problems with implementation.
