    Hi,

I am the developer of WP/LR Sync, the plugin that synchronizes Lightroom photos and collections to WordPress.

FooGallery is a clean gallery plugin and many of my users are actually using it. However, it doesn’t seem that easy to set it up with FooGallery. However I would like to propose something.

    Have a look at this:
    https://meowapps-totorotimes.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/wplr-sync-galleries.png
This is a screen available in my plugin on the WordPress side. It shows the collections created on Lightroom. There is an API on my plugin, the list of collections and the images in those collections can be retrieved very easily. It would be awesome to add a metabox in the Edit Gallery of FooGallery named something like “Lightroom Collection” and there would be a checkbox called “Sync with WP/LR Sync” and below that a combobox with the list of collections. Then FooGallery would automatically retrieve those items easily. The user wouldn’t have to do anything more.

What about it? That is the missing link to create a powerful alternative solution to NextGEN ?? I have ton of users who would be really happy to see WP/LR Sync to collaborate with FooGallery ??

    hi @tigroumeow,

Thanks for getting in touch. I really am keen to add this support to FooGallery.
I like your idea of having a metabox on the gallery edit page.

    I will look into this

Super, I think that would be awesome. I’ll be honest with you: I also gave a little gallery plugin, thing is it is actually very little and I don’t intend to add more options or to make it powerful, it is just light and adding better layouts for the standard gallery. So I would be glad to have your gallery as a partner for those who want something clean but more powerful ??

Don’t hesitate to contact me directly here: meowapps.com/contact

    That would definitely be awesome!

    Hi @bradvin,

Actually 3-4 users contacted me about this idea in the past week. I would be willing to help you adding this feature in your plugin. It would be actually very easy and would be a really nice feature for hundreds (or more!) users. What about working on it? We can do it together, I believe it would take less than one hour for us.
