Lightbox with header problem

I have a problem with displaying images and galleries in WP Lightbox 2, using Renden Pro theme by ThinkUpThemes. When I put a single image or gallery on the website, the user can click on the image to enlarge it (opens with lightbox). Before the click on image, if the user scroll down so that the whole header area is not visible, the image will popup as lightbox and it looks ok. But, if the user doesn’t scroll down (the header area is visible) and he clicks the image, it pops up but the header area is still visible. It should be covered by lightbox background. I’ve contacted theme developer but they said this is a problem with 3rd party plugin, not the theme. So maybe you can find the solution to this issue?
