Lightbox swipebox not working in IE

  • This may be due to an issue with an older version of Swipebox that was corrected in a newer version: https://github.com/brutaldesign/swipebox/issues/108

    The version of Swipebox shipping with Responsive Lightbox is 1.2.4, while the latest is 1.3.0.1. Swapping the latest JS and CSS files into the plugin’s ‘/assets/swipebox/source’ folders doesn’t seem to work.

    Is there any change Responsive Lightbox will be updated to use the latest Swipebox soon?

    Recent versions of Swipebox requires jQuery > 2.0, so we can’t make an update just like that (however we’re updating the plugin keeping the < 2.0 compatibility thanks to one of the users).

    We’ll be able to do this when WordPress switches to jQuery 2.0 or higher.

    So this plugin is not going to work with IE anytime soon?
    What a shame as it is such a great lightbox.
