Lightbox stopped working

    Hi,

    I’ve just changed the theme to ElegantBiz 1.17 [Flexibility 3 used previously] and the lightbox [NextGEN Gallery 2.0.79] has stopped working.

    WordPress and all plugins are up to date as well as things on server.

    I’ve done the test. When I’ve disabled all plugins and changed the theme from ElegantBiz to Twenty Fifteen, the lightbox was working properly, but after changing back to ElegantBiz the lightbox hasn’t been working again.

    @darius13 – Have you advised the theme author of this issue as well? Also, does the theme provide a Lightbox Effect of its own? This could be the conflict if that is the case.

    Hi Cais,

    The lightbox is available but has been disabled all the time.

    I’ve contactet the autor but he offered different solution. To be honest I prefer NextGEN and would like to use it if possible.

    Hi,

    Problem solved.

    I’ve checked the webpage with browser console. It showed an error connected to one of the lighting effects – fancybox. I simply set another lighting effect and it’s been working since then.

    At the same time I’d like to ask if anyone knows how to fix the problem with fancybox?

    @darius13 – If there are two different versions of Fancybox and/or they are being enqueued differently or separately then this could be the issue.
