• I don’t encounter the problem on the larger screen of my iMac, but my readers are complaining that when they open a large image on a post, especially with a laptop, the scrollbar at the bottom of the lightbox image doesn’t work. You can see the issue for yourself if you click on the image at the bottom of this post:

I have basic html/css experience, but I was wondering if I could disable Lightbox for individual images to solve the problem, or if there is another way I need to approach it. I would rather not be forced to post smaller images, but if there is a maximum size then please let me know what the dimensions are.

Thank you all very much, and have a nice day.

  • could you try to update the light box? I think that is javascript problem.
The image container’s left value is changing as you move the image and user think the image isn’t moving. actually it is happening parallax effect. light box javascript is chaing the the value simultaneously.

    Thank you for the response.

By updating, do you mean downloading and installing a different version?

I never installed Lightbox, it either came with the WordPress 3.5.1 install from godaddy.com or my Beverly theme from https://www.bluchic.com

If anybody has had the same issue or could direct me to an update it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
