Lightbox plugins don't seem to work anymore with NGG 2.0

  • I upgraded to NextGen 2.0 from 1.96.

    Previously external lightbox plugins – like JQuery Lightbox or OrangeBox – worked without problems, as long as “lightbox” was the selected display effect.

    Now with the same setting NextGen 2.0 seems to be defaulting to the built-in lightbox, and no external lightbox plugins work anymore.
    Frustrating.

    Thank you in advance for looking into this.

    On a related note, Jetpack Carousel never worked, even with previous versions of NextGen. I’m sure for many getting NextGen to work with Carousel would be a dream come true… ??

    I’ve just updated to 2.0 (something I regret) but my lightbox still works (at least something). I use Pinteterest lightbox plugin.

    I just updated NextGen and it stopped working completely, wouldn’t let me into my dashboard. Had to go in via FTP and disable the plugin to access my site. Something serious buggy about the new update.

    From all lightbox effect work only “highslide”.

    AND WHERE IS “custom lightbox” in select.
