Lightbox not working

Hope you’re well today! ??

I’ve tested this on my sandbox site with the same versions of BuddyPress and ActivityPlus but with the latest version of WordPress and everything worked pretty well, after uploading the image and posting it, it opens in a lightbox.

This could be related to a theme/plugin conflict, so can you please test for conflicts by using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

Hi,

I figured out that when i use the default wordpress theme, the litebox works just fine but when i activate my custom theme it doesn’t. So my question is, what is wrong with my theme? What is it that i am not doing right? I have tried to remove all my custom javscript files but it still doesn’t work. Any ideas?

I had forgotten to add the get_footer() function in my footer. I think some scripts are injected there. After sorting that out, it seems to works just fine. Thanks for the efforts though, cheers.

That’s really hard to say, since this is theme related I’d suggest contacting theme authors since they should be most familiar with the theme.

I was able to fix the issue. The theme is a custom theme that i authored so i was able to debug and spot where the issue was which was to do with my footer. Thanks.
