Lightbox not working

  • Just installed the latest version and setup a gallery. Only 1 template available (as free version, I suppose, so that is ok). The Youtube video links were generated ok and display on the page just fine. There are only 6 so they fit in a grid of 3 x 2 on the page. Great stuff.

    If I make the click on image go to “Video URL”, it works ok. ie it goes to Youtube and plays the video. If I enable the “Video Lightbox”, then the lightbox is displayed at the top of the page above the thumbnails – then the whole page is disabled. The lightbox does not popup as another window as usual – but is displayed as part of the page.

    The whole page is disabled. You cannot click on anything. This includes everything – the menu, etc. Cannot do anything except refresh the page. The video is not displayed. What is displayed is the first frame of the video, and then the Play button in the middle. Then nothing.

    I have tried in Firefox and Opera. Both the same.

    Is this normal operation. Do I have to buy a plugin or something?

    This is definitely not normal operation. Sounds like there may be a conflict with a plugin or theme. What theme are you running and do you have any other lightbox plugins activated? It could also be a JavaScript Conflict. If you could set up a test page with a gallery and post the link here I’ll take a look and see what we can find.
