Lightbox not working

I do confirm facing to the same issue than you.

I have found, for the time being, a workaround but it’s boring because you have to do that for each new image you add.

This problem appeared after the update from WP 4.3.1 to 4.4 and it’s existing with both RL 1.6.5 awa 1.6.6 for all new images.
We have to wait until dFactory fixes this bug.

Confirmed, does not work.

There is no bug in all our tests.

The @joe76000 thread is not related to the plugin. There’s simply no link in the caption shortcode, that’s why there is no lightbox.

@blamedutchie please post a separate thread with a link to your site and the description of the issue.

@dfactory: for now I have disabled your plugin.

I can confirm that it works flawlessly on existing posts with single images;
On new posts with single images it simply does not;
Also, it does not override the Jetpack Carrousel/Photon galleries;

I do confirm again and again and again that your RL 1.6.5 and 1.6.6 plugin is not “compatible” with the last 2 versions of WP; i.e 4.4 and 4.4.1!

Reading your above answer and understanding that NOTHING will be done on dFactory side, I have decide today to further and again investigate the subject.

After few hours of back and forth tests, I have found the WHY of – my and others – problem I have mentioned one month ago and which is still with no solution.
– WP 4.4: Responsive Lightbox 1.6.5 not compatible

Now, I will give later on today my Very Simple Solution (VSS) into my second thread:
– Responsive Lightbox 1.6.6 not compatible with WP 4.4

In fact, I do rephrase the headline of my 2 threads:
“WP since 4.4 is not compatible with RL 1.6.5 and 1.6.6!”

But, as I don’t believe that WP’s developers will make any change on this issue, it’s still the plugins’ developers tasks to make their plugins compatible with the newest versions of WP.

Be patient and you will have very soon my VSS for fixing this problem. It’s just a question of RL plugin behavior!
