lightbox isn’t working

  • Hi

    I just installed the plugin and setted up the first gallery. Somehow no lightboxing works. All images open as jpg links in the same tab.
    I tried the build in lightbox and I tried the direct link option with fancybox.

    Also I have no conflicts in the concole…

    What can I do?

  • Hi Tom,

    this is quite weird actually, there’s no error on client side. Would it be possible to temporarily switch to the WordPress Default theme and see ift lightbox works that way? That would be useful in order to understand if it’s a problem with the theme or something else.

    Hi Diego

    I just tried that and switched temporarily back to “Twenty Seventeen”.
    With that it worked as it should.

    Wierd is that I used a lightbox gallery with the custom theme before and it worked.
    Only since I changed to FTG it doesn’t work anymore… Even the old one, if I deactivate FTG again and try to use the old one…

    There are no duplicated jquerys or something… hm…

    hm, any ideas somebody?

    I’m having this trouble as well with AccessPress ParallaxSome theme. I can’t get ANY lightboxes to work (except JetPack Tiled Gallery, which was working fine until it decided to be, you know, JetPack) at all. Tried multiple plugins with no luck.
