lightbox image size issue

Hello,
I am using your plugin for a gallery and when you click on an image and it enlarges, it goes under my nav bar and the image title goes off of the page at the bottom. Is there any way to have the lightbox image pop up smaller? I don’t want to just re-size the images because they will look OK on laptops and really small on large monitors so if I could get it to pop up at 90% the heigfht of the browser window, that would fix it I think.
