    I just installed the plugin and noticed that when I click on a picture in my gallery, it opens up in lightbox but then when i click “x” to exit the lightbox, the photos still show up enlarged (same as lightbox but without the dark frame).

  • Dear hayamaj,

    Thanks for contacting us.
    The first lightbox which opens when clicking on the image belongs to our image gallery plugin: https://prntscr.com/i7i97l while the second one may be your theme’s or any other gallery plugin’s which has a built-in lightbox: https://prntscr.com/i7i9gn

    If you wish to keep the first lightbox, then it will be necessary to find out to which component added to your website belongs the second one. In order to check that, please, deactivate the plugins which may have a built-in lightbox in your opinion and change your theme to one of WordPress default themes.

    In the case, if you want to use the second lightbox, please, inform us of that and we will provide the instructions on our lightbox’s deactivation.

    We will wait for your feedback.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late response I was away for several days. Is it still possible for you to send me a way to deactivate the first box? It might be best to use the second box because it is closer to the theme.

    Thanks

    Dear hayamaj,

    Please open the file

    assets/js/custom.js

    and remove line 405

    jQuery(“.gallery-img-content a.gallery_responsive_lightbox”).lightbox();

    Thanks
