Hi,

I have used Foothumbnails to try and create a gallery from a thumbnail, i can get the thumbnail and the title on the page but i can’t get the lightbox to open up from the thumbnail. I think there may be a lightbox interfering as i am trying to set this up as an alternative to the Hazel Theme lightbox but can’t see to turn this off to stop the clash.

Could you look at the page i am trying to put this into to see if you can advise me?

Sorry for the delay, I’ve been at a cross-roads with this plugin. It needs updating in order to be really stable with 4.1+ and I have a really great update, but it would break your previous thumbnail galleries. Do you have a TON of previous galleries? Or would you not mind having the new version pushed and having to recreate galleries? Thanks for your feedback.

Hi matt, unfortunately i have downloaded a plugin made for visual composer now since i didn’t hear back from you. I don’t have a ton of galleries but there is one in the theme that i cant seem to stop blocking Foo Thubmnails.

Out of interest, if i use FooThumbnails for galleries does this produce massive pages if say i had 200 images in various galleries with thumbnails on one page linking to the galleries? I hope that makes sense but i need a page with lots of thumbnails that link to the album in the project.

Also, does the new update block modal boxes and sliders or just light boxes?

Yes, all the images that appear in FooBox with FooThumbnails is loaded onto the page but hidden until FooBox is triggered.

But honestly, it sounds to me that you’d be better off using the Albums feature of FooGallery for that purpose. It’s really excellent and a much better use of resources. Look into that and if you have questions the staff at FooPlugins has excellent support.
