Hi, I’m using the shortcode to show a gallery directly with lightbox skipping the page with all images thumbnails: [ngg_images gallery_ids=1 display_type=photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails disable_pagination=1 images_per_page=1 show_all_in_lightbox=1]. I would like to use as link to lightbox effect the gallery title instead of the cover image, but I’m not able to display the gallery title. Can you help me please?

@zucreativelab – You could create a custom template that displays the gallery title instead of the “first” image then add a parameter to the shortcode telling it to use the template (template=custom-template-name).

Although not specifically tested the theory is sound and should work.

See this article for more information about templates in NextGEN Gallery: https://nextgen-gallery.com/templates/

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
