Lightbox Gallery

Hi, plugin is just great !!
BUT I’VE GOT THE SAME PROBLEM

But i even see the prev/next buttons, prev/next action dont work too.
When i exit the lightbox there still showing dark overlay without the image.
Strange thing is that the button showing and working in editor mode :/

this happens because either the theme or another plugin opens a lightbox also! So you will need to disable the other lightbox functionality in order to make it work correctly.

No joy I am afraid. I have tried disabling the Lightbox function in the plugin but this also disables this one.

Still not working so may need to look at other options which is a Shame as the actual gallery looks good.

I’m not all too great with WordPress and I am learning. That being said how do I find out if there are other Light Boxes opening or where do I find them to disable them. I LOVE Gallery Plus but I want my users to be able to scroll through the pictures with the scroll arrows.

Disregard the last message found the fix…for all who want to make the lightbox scroll…go into the WordPress Dashboard…go the Scripts & Styles Panel…once the page loads find the Lightbox square and disable it…after you do make sure you go back to your page to edit and in Gallery Plus make sure the Lightbox toggle is switched to YES…then UPDATE your page and check it on the web…worked for me, hope it works for you.

The Scripts & Styles Panel can be found in the THEMES PANEL

Glad you worked this out. Scripts and Styles is probably related to your theme’s settings I guess since its not a native WordPress Option.

@tomfoto, can you explain how you have disabled lightbox in the plugin? Do you have Elementor lightbox also active?

@loscarnales, I don’t have a scripts and style panel under themes so maybe we use a different theme.

@markwaregr, I went to the global setting within the elementor editor and there is a toggle switch for Lightbox. Not sure this is what you meant?

To clarify I am using Ocean Extra, Elementor and of course Elements +!

Hi @tomfoto, have you disabled Ocean Extra Lightbox? or the default Elementor lightbox (where I pointed before)?

I worked it out!

I need to update the PHP from 5.6 to 7 in my web host (hostgator).

This then enabled me to follow Loscarnales instructions and it works. Many thanks.

On PHP 5.6 the Sytles and Scripts under themes doesn’t show.

But now all sorted as you can see here:

Hi,

I would like ask fohelp. The problem is similar but I can see the prev/next arrow in Elementor but I can’t see on the webpage only 1 picture and black backgroud. Why different the wp elemntor and the real webpage.
