I’m using the plugin to display gallery images via lightbox but the pop up lightbox window is very small. Is there a way to fix this, as the images are much larger?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us.
The lightbox size are automatic depending on the image original size with a max width. Can you show me a page where you have the problem?

    Hey,

the lightbox do work as they should when I include Advanced Images but they don’t for Galleries (Open galleries in lightbox function in the Config settings). Here’s an example:

    Hi,

Indeed it seems that’s only the thumbnail that is loaded. I think there’s a problem with the optimization activated on the website. Possibly the resource minification or group system.

Could you try to disable it and see if that works?

I think I’ve found the issue:

I’m using Optimole to deliver optimized images and Lazy Loading to the website (which resulted in much improved page speed).
Do you know if there’s a similar service to Optimole that works well with Advanced Gutenberg?

I got this feedback from Optimole now:

“Hello, this is caused by the gallery. It explicitly specifies a width and height of 226×151 that optimole respects.

    `<div id=”cboxLoadedContent” style=”width: 226px; overflow: auto; height: 151px;”></div>

As you can see the container has explicit height and width specified as a result the URL generated by optimole is for those sizes.”

Is there a CSS class I should be able to exclude from lazyloading in Optimole that might fix the issue?

    Hi,

Indeed image sizes are specified but the size is wrong. Just to make sure, did you specify the right size of the images in the lightbox size? See:

If size or medium or large, there’s a trouble with another plugin.

    Cheers,

    Hello

I am having the same issue when my CDN service (Piio) is enabled. It delivers a very small preview. But once the CDN is disabled it works fine.

I have tested some alternative galleries and they work fine. But I want to stick with Advanced Gutenberg as it is very simple.
