Lightbox feature doesn't work

  • The gallery itself was easy to setup. Once I created the gallery, I added the shortcode to my main galleries page — looked great. When I click on the individual gallery link, it takes me to the gallery page that breaks my theme’s default template file. Plus, the lightbox feature doesn’t work. It just links you to the image file itself.

    1) You have got the visual errors which are related to your theme. Our services are not applied to the layout stylizing of custom WordPress themes. All standard WordPress themes support our plugins. If you’ll install standard theme 2012 or 2013 then everything will be displayed correctly. We are not responsible for differences between custom and standard themes. We understand that not every user can edit styles and add necessary changes to the plugin template manually, and that is why we are offering our service in order to help you and adjust plugin for your current WordPress theme. If you have programming skills then you will cope with this modification easily
    2) As for the problems with lightbox
    There is a scripts conflict on your page. There are two possible causes:
    1) You have an incorrectly written theme that instead of using js WordPress files uses custom files plugged into the theme, consequently, the plugin that works with js WordPress files (as it must be and as it is stated in WordPress codex) can’t work correctly. Please, try to set a standard WP theme (2013, 2014) and check the plugin’s work.
    2) The conflict may be caused by one of the installed plugins you use. Please, deactivate all the plugins except Gallery and then activate them one by one and check the gallery’s work in order to find out the plugin that causes the conflict.
