Lightbox (FancyBox) suddenly went dim

    Hi!

    Since a few weeks back, the viewing of all my gallery images turned dim. Like, the kind of dimness that FancyBox is supposed to lay over the rest of the site while viewing an image, except now everything is dimmed, including the image. I can get the image to show properly if I switch which lightbox to use – but honestly, FancyBox is the one that looks best (when it works). The linked website is just one of several where this issue suddenly appeared, and I have not been doing anything on either of the sites recently. Automatic updates is activated, though.

    Does anyone know why all images are suddenly dimmed?

    Hi @tavathlon,

    Looks like you are getting some excessive z-index applying for Fancybox’ overlay.

    Let’s first of all try deactivating and deleting NextGen Gallery plugin then installing it new to see if that’ll resolve the problem (by reloading all of the files). This process doesn’t affect the galleries.
