Lightbox embedded image broken

  • With current WP update and new plugin Classic Editor, support for deploying a Lightbox window for each image embedded within a post is broken. “Featured images” for an individual post are unaffected by this bug. Also embedding new images (jpeg) in old posts results in the same issue. Old embeds in old posts are not affected. De-activating the Classic Editor does not help. How do I revert back to an older WP version?

  • If disable Classic Editor not help so it’s not in the plugin support scope. Can you provide more detail like Screenshots?

    Yes, as @tien-nguyen points out this is most likely not related to this plugin. It doesn’t change the content of posts at all. If the Gutenberg editor is installed it would let you choose which editor to use, or disable it completely. It doesn’t do anything else.
