    Hello,

the plugin seems to be great. But I’ve got a problem with the lightbox. It stays only for half a second, then the content is shown in an unformatted page. I tried to use a lightbox addon but the problem is still the same. Do you have an idea?
You can see (only 2 Days with content, just for testing) the page here:
    https://relaunch.kb-meile.de/adventskalender/
May be here if the link doesn’t work because we want to relaunch today:
    https://kb-meile.de/adventskalender/
    Thanks for helping.

    Regards,
    sup

    Hi,
both links don’t really work for me, sorry. We never experienced that problem – the content is indeed rendered in an unformatted page, but should be shown within the lightbox. Maybe some other plugin is trying to “free” the page from being shown in a frame?

    Hi,
sorry, now you can see it here: https://www.kb-meile.de/adventskalender/
If you try a link in the calender, the message “this content failed to load” will be shown in the lightbox for a short time and after a while it jumps to a formatted page. I deactivated the plugins but the effect is still there. We are using the slider revolution addon but I can’t deactivate this because every page based on it.

I have noticed that the url jumps from https://www.kb-meile.de/adventskalender to https://www.kb-meile.de/sheet/01-12-2016-2/. Do you have an idea?
    Thanks,
    Regina

    Hi,

this is really rather strange. There is a lot of JavaScript on your site – when someone clicks on a date number, a whole lot of different scripts try to do something:

I can’t really tell which one of the others might be the culprit here.

Since I’m actually more the backend guy, something else terrifies me a bit – what did you do to make the date numbers clickable already? They should stay deactivated until that day actually happens.

Hm, it based on a theme we bought for our customer so I can’t say what JavaScript has to manage exactly.

But I’m glad that I can help you: If you set the content for one Day you can change the publishing day in the sidebar under “Publish”. If you set the date before today, they get clickable. Very easy instead of my other problem….

    Regina,

my name is Martin, I’m more the frontend-guy here. ??

Do you have another lightbox-plugin running? WP Advent comes with its own Colorbox.
Did you deactivate all other plugins?

It seems as if some code (most likely some Javascript) is redirecting to the page.

    Best,
    Martin

    Hi Frontend-Guy Martin,

sorry but there’s no other lightbox addon. Slider-Revolution is the only Plugin I can’t deactivate because then I will get a Fatal error on the page.

You have an idea for a solution??

    Hi again,

I just made a test on another page wich uses the Slider-Revolution Plugin as well and here the page directly opens in an unformatted page as well, without trying to open the lighbox. So I think it’s a problem between WP Advent and Slider Revolution. A pity…. So if you don’t have an idea for a workaround or anything else, it’s not possible to use your Plugin together with Slider Revolution.

    Best Regards,
    Regina

    Regina,

please excuse the late reply. I’m sorry but I don’t have an idea.
You might check why the slider-plugin is loaded on the page with the calendar. It seems as if it is not needed there.

    Best,
    Martin
