Lightbox closing Issue

Hello all..
I am having an issue, that is related to the new LightboxJs.
In theold version, it was possiable to close the window clicking on any part of the “popup” .
In the new version, you need to click the “close” button.
that is because of the “next” and “previous” possiability (gallery) that was introduced in the new version.
Anyone knows how and where to “hack” that JS so it would close like the old version IF the gallery option is not in use ?
(And I do not want to consider using another clone script, that would be too mch to change on my posts…)
