@sutton74: Just want to be sure I understand. You want a single image that represents the gallery, and when you click that image, it opens the whole gallery in the lightbox, correct? Would you expect to see just one image in the lightbox and you advance, or are you wanting to see a “gallery” – thumbnails and all – in the lightbox.

From what I’m understanding, I can say that there’s no way to do that easily from NextGEN Gallery currently.

That said, I’ve seen thread on the WP.org forums and elsewhere from people trying to achieve this. Usually they are wanting to click the gallery preview image in an album and have it open in a lightbox rather than a separate page. If that sounds similar, here’s a place you might start:

@sutton74 Congratulations! It looks like you have a solution and the effect is great.

    Now I have three questions:
Did you follow the instructions, as given, in the link provided by @photocrati, or did you modify them?

Did you roll-back to NextGen 1.9.13 or did you get it working in NextGen 2.0? and finally

I notice you have dropped the sub-menu for before and after – I’m still interested in the effect you were using there previously – the sliding between before and after images if you are willing to share how that was done.

    Cheers

    Paul
