    “Nothing” isn’t the right answer ??

    This was a test site that went live. We did not move the content but changed the folder name and the site URL and information. You can see the site gallery by visiting THE WEBSITE link. If you look at the gallery the photos show but not in the gallery plugin. Please let me know what we need to change in order to correct the plugin issue.

    Do you mean “but not in the lightbox”?
    Change the path at Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects -> Show Advanced Settings

    Yes. The images popup but it’s pulling in the full image on the screen and leaving the site page rather than running in the lightbox over the top of the website.

    I did make changes to the path. I checked the site files to see if the path was correct. It is but it’s still not working correctly.

    I have the images in folders on the harddrive. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the plugin and files?

    Any thoughts?

    @nymills – Do you have an example of this so we can at least see it in the public eye? We may still need a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) submitted to sort out a possible solution though.

    I don’t know if my problem is the same, but the lightbox on a site I’m working on is also not working. I believe it was working before (this is one of those projects that gets passed around a lot), but is no longer working. I tried upgrading the plugin, and that also didn’t fix it.

    I think I know what the problem is, but going through the plugin I was unable to get it change.

    Then, looking at the lightbox setting, I saw that it was set to “thickbox”. After changing it to pretty much any of the other lightboxes, it started working for me.

    The problem with thickbox is that it’s spitting out the class as “\”thickbox\”” which is causing the thickbox to fail loading. If you change the class to be “thickbox” in the inspector, it works properly. I’ll report this as a bug, but just figured I’d mention this. I don’t think OP was using thickbox as their lightbox choice.

    Same exact issue happening to my site, just as OP describes. Changing to lightbox/thickbox/etc does nothing, cleared my cache, disabled all other plugins… nothing seems to do it. No changes have been made on this site in 3 weeks, could it be server related?

    @nymills – Thanks for the link to the gallery you are seeing the problem on, I can see it happening there as well. Did you submit a Bug Report on this issue, yet?

    I have the same issue as nymills

    same here sadly. I am using nextgen on aabc.nl and since updating it to the latest version lightbox no longer works.

    – I submitted a bug report. Any ideas on quick fixes in the meantime?

    Update: I managed to fix this using the FAQ https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/galleries-opening-lightbox/
    In the end i even had to manually edit the database but it works again ??

    @nymills – We have an unpublished “Reset” tool that has helped in some situations where more difficult to access settings can be corrected, but we generally do not release it unless we have a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) giving us reason to.

    Cais – I’ve filed a bug report and you’ve sent me the Reset tool by email. The problem still remains.
