LightBox and WordPress Gallery

I inserted a gallery into a wordpress page and wanted to use the lightbox effect. I know to add to a single picture the lightbox effect, you have to add “rel=”lightbox”” to each photo, how would I add that effect to the whole gallery, I don’t see an option for the gallery?
