Light Logo Doesn’t Show On Scroll With Sticky Header

  • Hello,
    I have a dark variant of my logo that shows in the header when you are not scrolling, and that is what you can see on the website https://site.loebs.me right now.

    However, I want it to show a light variant of the logo in the header when scrolling. Currently, the header changes colors, but the logo is not switched.

    In the “Type, Variant and Background” section, I chose “No hiding sticky”, and under “Header color variants” I chose “Turn on only for a sticky variant”.

    In the “Logo”-section, I have enabled “Use logos from header variants” and uploaded the colored variant of the logo, which is shown when not scrolling.

    In the “Sticky header – Overrides…” I have uploaded the light versions of the logo, which is to be shown when scrolling. But the white logo doesn’t appear at all, it is only the colored logo that is there, also when scrolling. However, the background color changes to that one I have set in the Sticky header section, so it IS reacting to SOME of the settings there, but not in regards to the logo.

    In the “Logo”-section, I have enabled “Use logos from header variants” and uploaded the colored variant of the logo, which is shown when not scrolling.

    Hmm, then it is very strange that it doesn’t work. Try changing this setting once again, by disabling it and saving, and then reenabling it and saving again. There is a chance it glitched.

    I have also checked that the sticky header logo image is not set. Try removing it as well and set it again.

    There is a chance that cache plugin can affect this situation as well, so disable cache/optimization plugins before making above changes.

    Hello, I do not need a logo variant anymore, but thanks for the help!

    I faced the same problem. I set everything as mitcharseneau. I also tried to switch it on and off few times. I don’t have cache plugin. I can see that in code inspector there is only “black logo”. However in in Worpdress (Appearance > Customize>Headres settings>Sticky header – Overrides) I can see that “white logo” is added.
