We’ve realized that another problem besides possible fatal errors with v1.5.3 is that the plugin thinks it needs a license to update – which is not the case at all. To get around this, please simply Deactivate the plugin, and the Update link will appear. If it doesn’t appear right away, check for updates again, or wait a few minutes, or delete it, and search/install it fresh.

If you’ve opted-in to our use surveys, a pop-up asking why you’re deactivating may appear, you can click “Skip and Deactivate” to continue.

If you have trouble Deactivating it, you can optionally delete the plugin via FTP or your hosting File Manager, then search/install it fresh.

v1.5.3 of our plugin had a small flag accidentally set that tells it that it is a Premium version (but does not include the Premium version files), which is why it thinks it needs a license, but in reality that flag should not be set at all, and we’ve fixed that issue in v1.5.4.

We deeply apologize for this update issue, and assure you that once updated to v1.5.4 the plugin will work just as reliably as before this issue.

If you have any further issue or have any questions on how best to implement things, please open a New Support Thread, and we will be very responsive, as always.

    Thanks,
    Rob

Where exactly the Update link should appear? I deactivated it and then activated it again (2 times), still no update link anywhere ??

    Hi Sofie,

Simply Deactivate the plugin, and the Update link should appear. Do not reactivate it.

If it doesn’t appear right away, click the “Check for Updates” button under Updates a few times, or wait a few minutes.

If the Update link or option isn’t showing up, just delete the plugin, and search/install it fresh.

I have deactivated the plugin but the only choices available to me are “activate” or “delete.” There is no option to update. I have refreshed my plugins page several times to no avail.

“If it doesn’t appear right away, click the “Check for Updates” button under Updates a few times, or wait a few minutes.”

What does this mean. I see no “check for updates” button

Hi @baweibel it’s under Dashboard > Updates. If not showing, you can delete the plugin and search/install fresh from the repo.

Let us know if you still have trouble.
